It has become very clear over the last few months that we the supporters have our club back. The new board of directors have set out a plan to bring all the teams together to make us one club. Not splintered into non connected sections. The mens team. The womens team. The deaf team and the academy are all pulling in the same direction. The positivity around the club and around the supporters on the away PSF on Saturday was brilliant. All I want is it to continue slowly and surely and for the progress to continue at a sensible rate. Lets build with one eye on the future and not expect everything to come at once. Rome wasnt built in a day. All in all lots to be encouraged about with good people now at the helm. COYW.

Well said. I also note that Barrie Hobbins has now officially resigned as a director of the CIC. Whilst we are looking to the future we should all thank Barrie for his hard work over the last 60 years.

We need a new President, and I can think of no one better.

Taking a look at the list of officials on the club website Barrie is Life President plus Chris Roots and Paul Websdale are Vice Presidents. I think this happened a while back under the previous ownership.

Thank you David that all seemed to pass me by. Glad to see that Barrie is recognised as Life President.

Maybe a testimonial for Barrie would be more fitting, like Maidstone did for Bill Williams as Barrie just seemed to disappear from the scene when others got involved previously without any form of send off. Same for young Barry who used to work miracles on the pitch how we could do with having him back !
