I'd prefer to buy online, but I wouldn't pay more. The club need to read the economic room! Buying online should be a win win - for the fan it's slightly cheaper entry and convenience upon arrival. For the club it's guaranteed income even if ticket holders don't attend, a gauge of likely attendance prior to the day, easier management of ingress, and maybe some useful collection of data.
It's a small issue that I'm sure the club will sort.
