With a 46 match long league season, plus hopefully lots of cup games, we need a big squad to cover the injuries that will inevitably happen throughout the season. There are already lots of weeks with a Saturday and Tuesday league game, so there isn't much time for rest and recovery before the next game. Apparently he is 6' 4" so it will be good to have that extra height in the team. Last season there were several players in the squad I didn't rate, but this year our squad has miles more depth, so I don't mind our big squad, as it is lots of good players, rather than lots of bad players.
I did hear at Taunton last weekend Warren was still looking to add to his squad if the right players come about. Also his main targets were supposedly to bring in an additional forward. But clearly hes seen that we are still a little rocky at the back which I cant lie I felt Curran wasnt filling me with total confidence from last weeks display. Anyway, as Johnny said this year more then ever and with a 46 match long league season and lots of cup games in the FA Cup & Trophy (hopefully) we will need a big squad to cover the injurys that will inevitably happen throughout the season.
