Well done boys. Absolutely blitzed them early in the second half. Probably would of got a couple more without the sending off. The boys will be buzzing in training this week. Keep working hard and the rewards will come. Weve got our Welling back!

What a great result , what character , and what a win!!! We not kidding ourselves we cant compete with our neighbours down the road who stay in over night hotels on long trips, but we have showed we can compete , and thats all I ask for when I pay my money. Havant, ebbsfleet, one or two others will stroll this leauge but to show the fight on Tuesday and today shows at least the team will compete every game and along with good food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere thats all I ask for. Well done lads !

Welling stayed overnight in Taunton the night before the game...

Great comeback today, a superb goal from Papadopolus for the second and a great flick for the 3rd from Payne. Very stupid decision by the centre half for the sending off, no need to fly in and no complaints from me on the decision.

However you can see there's a great team spirit, and they just kept working hard and competing. A very well deserved win!

Shows hotel stays dont with very proud of the lads , they not world beaters just need two or three players to be really competitive this year and rebuild the disastrous years since king was sacked. Im really looking forward to Chelmsford , especially the burger and nice beer!

Another great result. Bearing in mind we had finished bottom two the last two seasons Warren has done an amazing job at convincing the quality new players to join us, so I am delighted that their confidence in Warren and Welling is paying off. Who scored our goals today?

Saw the score at half time and thought it would be impossible to turn it around. Tuned in to the commentary just before the first and it was a pretty mesmerising 5 minutes.

Onwards and upwards :)

Thanks again for the commentary.

Let's be honest, after two seasons in the bottom two, at the start of this season just avoiding relegation would have been a major achievement. But it is clear Warren and the team want more than just survival, and have a much bigger picture than just avoiding another relegation battle. With our rebuilt side we are already in a play off spot, way ahead of schedule, already scoring two or more in most of our games, even though the team is still gelling.

Our pre-season was a puzzle to me, as we were playing and beating lower division teams, so I couldnt work out how good we really were, or how relevant those games were to forthcoming new season Division South games. But now we are playing Division South games I can see the massive difference between those pre-season games and our league ones is simply the sheer non stop speed of the higher Division South, and see our hard work pre-season has paid off, as we have the fitness to match our opponents, as shown in todays great second half comeback.

Hemel started off level on points with us, also wanting a play off spot, so it is great we got the points today and saw off a dangerous rival. Next we have fourth placed unbeaten Chelmsford, so can't wait until Saturday to find out the next chapter in this already remarkable season of rebuilding.

Thought the scoreline was unjust. Knew there would be HT changes, plus playing downhill with sun behind us, would also be a positive.

lost my bottle with 10 to go though.

Wallop.
