Their game against Boring Wood is off tonight due to the weather. According to twitter pitch is ok but concerns about spectator safety around the ground. Dont think I would want to walk up the steps and through the park in the dark let alone with ice on ground. (Take it thats still the way in for away fans).

The game is unsegregated, but we are encouraged to use the Community Stand (which is a 4 row stand between the goal and the corner flag at the front/town end). Entrance is recommended via Gate 4 at the front of the ground (from the road, near the Souvenir Shop), so no walk up to and through the park.
I believe the problem tonight is the walk up from the road level to the ground level. Let me assure you it has been below or around freezing all day today.

The forecast is looking a bit better with sunshine during Thursday and Friday (but lower temperatures overnight).

The question we all have is whether the chances of it going ahead on Saturday will be good enough by 9am tomorrow (Thursday) to take a chance and buy an advance ticket with the £3 discount.
It is increasingly likely it is going ahead, which is great news after two postponed games. Both teams have 26 points after 21 games, but Aldershot have better recent results after changing their manager. Looking at their recent highlights they are extremely quick on the break, faster than we are used to playing against, so our ability to deal with that may decide the game, though Aldershot don't look that great defensively. Their number 7 Justin Amaluzor looks impressive and dangerous, central to lots of their play, and having a good season with Aldershot, so one to keep an eye on in the match. Interested to know after the match what our fans thought of him.
According to the Aldershot forum there is a pitch inspection arranged for 8am tomorrow morning.
If they fail tomorrow I believe it has to be played Tuesday. If thats not possible maybe Aldershot could withdraw and concentrate on staying in the national plus let us have the prize money.

What is the relevance of how many points each team has..??
Arsenal are top of their league. Burnley are top of their league. I am pretty sure I know which team is better...
The relevance of how many points each team has is it shows in advance of playing them how competitive they are in their respective divisions. Some people will find it useful to know in advance how the opposition team's season has gone so far, and their recent form. Obviously you don't think it important to know that, and that is fine. Good luck to you and a Happy Christmas!

I think the 21 places between us in the league table ladder would give more relevance to the task in hand tor this match? Not that it will be played tomorrow.

Jamie, I can vouch for its authenticity as I took it myself. Aldershot is where I normally do the "weekly shop", so took the opportunity to have a look. If you search me out at a game I will show you it on my phone.

Oh fair enough, just looked a bit to bright and autumn like, they obviously had better weather than our area that was still grey and miserable.
