Do you have a colour index to show why some games are highlighted different to others?

Is there a point to this entry?
You could probably store these in one of your many own clouds rather than on this forum?

The point to the entry was that I hadn't seen anywhere online where the results of all our league and cup games were all listed in order. So I am looking forward to someone sharing the link to where these are already available online.

I tried to post it as a single entry, but it only could take a few lines at a time, hence having to split it into four posts. A shame, as it reads much better as a single document.

Unlike some other posters, I find it useful to see the story of the whole season as it unfolds, so one sees more clearly how we have reached a league position. If one scrolls across to the 6th column of position it shows a very clear and rather worrying picture. I colour coded results green for wins, black for draws and red for losses just to have an even clearer view of any trends. I also marked some of the results against higher placed teams, and saw against top 12 placed teams our record is P11 W2 D4 L5 and against bottom 12 placed teams it is P10 W4 D4 L2.

In the league of our current squad Ade, Stefan and Taylor have scored 8 7 and 6 respectively from 21 games, which is great, but in the whole rest of the squad hardly any goals, Antony, Amadou, Manny, and Yaser have 1 each, which reinforces why our results are bad, as we simply dont get enough players up in forward positions, and very good attacking players are used in defensive and holding positions, which helps partly explain why it is now 13 league games since we scored more than 1 goal. On a positive note, Warren's interview the other day suggests he is now talking with the players, instead of just shouting angrily at them, so hopefully his improved comms can lead to improved results

I don't wish to be the bringer of bad tidings but this information is available in the match programme

Who would have thought it? Also Welling United's results can be found on the Welling United website:

OK, now I get it, google results of Welling results shows Welling results! Now I'm off to google "Johnny Hartley strongly tipped to use google more often in future".

Thanks for the directions to the results pages, one of the reasons I like following Welling is the coverage is so good, with previews and reports and interviews with players and managers, so one can get an idea of an opposing team ahead of a match, which is handy for new arrivals like me.

Cheshunt next on Tuesday, when I google the result on Wednesday what will it be?! Tom Dickens has moved to them, so I am quietly confident!

With the weather as it is I would not be surprised to see Tuesdays result to be P-P

I cannot see Tuesday's game being on at all.

Looking at the forecast, I also have doubts for Aldershot on Saturday.

i know a lot of people are against it but if this sort of problem continues then a 4G pitch is required as soon as possible. obviously this will cost a fortune. Young Barry many moons ago told me around £400,000 I expect today it is considerably higher. However the benefit of being able to play and use the pitch for other wings teams should out weigh this.

Ade was injured in our last game, and I think we may have a few other injuries, so an unexpected break is actually good news to get the squad back in numbers.

Last season nearly every visiting manager in post match interviews complained our pitch was not fit for the league, which was embarrassing. The players didn't trust the pitch as it made passes bounce a lot, so there was lots of high passing to avoid that, which wasn't great to watch. It is great the new people running the team fixed the pitch and ended those complaints, and that the football as a result has got better with more passing on the ground. With the first team, Erith and the ladies team all playing home games the ground staff are doing a great job in keeping the pitch in such great shape as newly laid pitches can be problematic, but this one has settled down seamlessly.

Tonbridge have a plastic pitch and their game tomorrow has already been called off.

Gives them a chance to rest players for Boxing Day which is a bigger attraction than the Frenchies on a Tuesday night.
