The forecast is for rain on Saturday morning 1.00 -11.00 am. There has been tons of rain recently, and a game played on Tuesday, it sounds a bit of a risk of a waterlogged pitch, is there going to be a pitch inspection scheduled for midday-ish Saturday, just to be on the safe side?

That is great news, with three teams playing home games at the ground and the recent snow and rain, the ground staff have done an amazing job at keeping the pitch so playable throughout the season. Plus I have a feeling this is a win for us, so game on!

Ref Watch - Aaron Farmer, in the North and South has given 57 yellows in 17 games and 1 second-yellow. 16 yellows in the past 3 games. Let's hope the players are aware!

WTF were two of our players doing. Kicking off while DH players were still in the corner celebrating. Then to top it all 2v1 against their keeper tried to go around him and run the bloody ball out of play. ****ing embarrassing.

Wasn't there but don't really need to be once you read comments in various places to realise how bad we must of been, just like last week.

Where will the line be drawn? We're now in a position again of where is the next win coming from under current circumstances. Chippenham have found a bit of form, Hemal just beat dirtford away 3 - 1 and quinton will be up for it, Chelmsford are hit and miss but their home record is very impressive and Dirtford I don't wanna think about what will happen again.
So Cheshunt away in a month, long time to wait, again!

We have beaten Tonbridge twice recently. Woopeee! Those games were pretty even games. We edged them both. Be honest everyone when have we ever looked a dominant force against any team in this league win lose or draw. (Oxford City excepted). We were supposed to be hitting our stride by October. Well its January and we are still performing like we did today. Not occasionally. Not one off games. All the ****ing time. If I was the manager watching us get embarrassed week in week out Id do the right thing and bugger off because its obvious my methods arent working.

I don't like people who criticise referees, but in this case it was totally deserved, and as he walked through the tunnel I asked him as he quickly walked away with head down, "Referee, are you happy to have been the centre of attention?" and said it again, just to be on the safe side in case he'd not heard the first time.

Losing 2 - 4 looks bad on the face of it, but we were playing a new number 16 who in my book at least didn't make much impact, as Stefan was suspended, it was great to see Chi in midfield, and his side of the pitch midfield and behind him was really solid defensively, and once he gets his fitness back after his unexpected break he will add lots more attacking play in midfield. Just heard Daniel has gone back to his home club, that is a blow.

That second half dip happened again, in second halves we drop too deep and we just don't get enough players up in the opposition half.

On the final whistle a fan behind me said, "bye bye Warren." I don't think it has got to that stage, but we have only won one game in every three so far this season, and I think we have a great squad, who are underperforming, and there is nothing I have heard from the manager that makes me think he knows how to make us win more than one in three games. It is all very well saying one is disappointed with the team, it is all very well pointing out they keep making mistakes that lead to goals being conceded. But it is supposed to be the managers job to take responsibility to stop players making mistakes, rather than irresponsibly trying to make out it is their problem, not his.

We dont have a great squad. No way. Our best player IMO is Myles Roberts our on loan keeper. In recent matches our best performing players are loan players. Chi is probably the best performing contracted player. The majority of our players are average at this level at best. Many below average. We dont pass the ball with any degree of confidence. We create very little. Our main tactic is Roooooouuute one. Have it! Its soul destroying rubbish. Our great squad can barely string two passes together. Our captain is running around trying to add to his list of yellow cards so he can have a couple of weeks off in February. Half term please.  Lanzarote here I come. How Cameron Andrews doesnt get a game is beyond me. He had more skill in his left earlobe than our Captain. Bloody sight cheaper too. Totally pissed off watching this ****e.

There's lots of different explanations or theories and opinions. But what sums it up is we just got our pants pulled down by a squad managed by Paul Barnes.

Mr Hartley, a word of advice, no need for all the powder puff and waffle in your e-mails. Here if you had just said:

"IMO Ref was an attention seeker who ignored my yelps when leaving the pitch. Wasn't impressed with the new16, Chi did well in midfield. Daniel's loan has ended - disappointed. As usual we dropped too deep in the second half. There were calls for Warren's departure at the end, his recent record on and off the pitch warrants that call. He hasn't stopped the players making silly mistakes."

There just over two lines instead of 10, which IMO covers the gist of what you have said and makes for an easier read.  BTW, (ref WDYPTC) is "by the way", whilst IMO is "in my opinion".

Just saying.

I think last seasons team would beat this lot. Honestly has it improved or changed on the pitch that much? I don't think so. Lucky we had an okay start because currently we are a bottom 4 side.

Even if we managed the draw today it would have been fortunate. We were crap, Dulwich were crap and that was a poor game of football for any semi pro level.

Totally agree Riverstown and I think led to Ade getting a yellow card... how they didn't score with a dead ball sums up current performance. I presumed they were just trying to keep warm nono

Words fail me for how embarrassing we were!

...why oh why is Cameron Andrews is not being played is a joke!

As mentioned our on loan keeper Myles is one of only a few worth keeping in this squad...some one needs to press the re-set button & start again. But that don't look lik it's going happen any time soon.

Dread to think how many Dartford will put pass us?

When we scored our equaliser a fan near me was spot on, saying it energised the opposition, rather than us. Warren's biggest flaw as a manager is always his team goes on the backfoot too easily. I remember last season often we would go in 1 - 0 ahead at half time, obviously opposition managers would fire their team up to come out fighting, and we would just drop back and defend non stop in the second half, even though we were winning. Often their constant pressure and our defensive mindset then led to a bad result for us.

That carries on to this season, I think Warren and the players have a blind spot in how they go into their shell and drop back too much. I remember a match hearing Sam encouraging the players, "Push up" and that is the clear message our players must bear in mind, not the "drop back" mentality Warren and the guys may not even realise they have. All this comes from the manager, he must tell the players to play on the front foot.

Antonio at West Ham said how Moyes told the players to always sit back and defend for 80 minutes and to go for it in the last 10 minutes. That overly cautious mentality must be so boring and frustrating for players, and explains why that club are in the bottom 3. I remember Warren saying you can't control a match for 90 minutes, well, I disagree, you can. And that negative mindset about not being able to control a whole game causes us problems. We need a mindset we will boss our games, push up more, and not let any teams push us around. It is all very well managers just talking about mentality, but that's just talk, the manager and the players must realise they have to actually deliver that. Think like winners. Become winners. Not play scared of the opposition.

Against Farnborough we let in a last minute losing goal, we looked very competitive yesterday, a great comeback, suddenly ruined with two late goals. So we have been competitive, just let down by constant defensive mistakes. We got 2 goals again yesterday, third game in a row we have scored twice which is good news. But defensive mistakes and overly defensive mindset take attention away from recent improvements when we actually attack.

The football is shocking. How can you expect people to keep coming back to watch this. No style, no characters and no idea! Every good decision we make off the field is undone by the man in the dugout. No matter how much people like him personally, we have to let him go. Hes not good enough plain and simple. Can make all the excuses you want but hes not getting anything out of this group and unless you flip the entire squad at this point, that isnt going to change. Same old rants at Chi and Papdopolos and not a whole lot else. No problem with this year being a consolidation year, but we need the right man ready in place for the start of next season. The club has a great opportunity over the coming years if we can get the right manager in. Need someone who connects with the fans and brings people back each week.

This is bang on the money! My concern is Feeney is calling the shots not just in the changing room but in the boardroom as well. Hes untouchable and I honestly believe for as long as he wants it, has the safest job in football. Show us progress and us supporters will be on side. This aint progress.
