Ref had a shocker towards the end but we ask for trouble when you stand in front of a free kick despite being told repeatedly to move we are 3 up going into time added onpointless
As mentioned earlier, Slough will be disappointed to concede the goals they did. However, Alexander took them all very well. Thought Azeez had a poor game and should have been on the scoresheet. At 3-0 up I was disappointed that Lisbie never got some decent game time alongside Alexander. I would have.swapped him for Azeez with 15 mins remaining. Defence looked solid and keeper had another good game. Poor defending and finishing from Slough, which on a different occasion, may have made for a differing scoreline. One thing that is certain, we do not miss Payne.
You hear teams sing about the ground/area they are visiting being a $hit hole. You would not have argued with anyone if they sang that yesterday.

Performance was good, could have been more, Azeez had a couple of chances he would expect to score, but to say he was poor is a little too far, he played well. Defence solid and Roberts good again. Midfield lost possession too easily at times and the hold up play could be better, but 3-0 away from home is brilliant and the fans were also brilliant. Ref lost it second half, but overall was good. When the keeper cleared it against their defender and went down with a supposed head injury, she should have played on and let Lisbie score. Never a head injury.
A good fast start from us and an early goal always helps as does having a real predator up front. The second goal was a touch of class but all three were good finishes. Slough were desperately poor defensively but we took advantage of that. Thought we could have scored more but understandably being three goals ahead we defended what we had. The referee did OK for an hour but lost control the longer the game went on and there were some bizarre decisions and cards towards the end.
Good to get a clean sheet as well as the three goals. Roberts made two great saves second half when called upon and both full backs did well. I don't think we should underestimate the difference that KLF has made since he came in either. I was surprised that Andrews didn't start but Curran did ok in an unfamiliar role for him. The midfielders all worked hard as did the front two and there are signs of a decent partnership there as the second goal showed. Last but not least a good turn out of away fans for what was essentially a mid table game and nice to see a good number of youngsters there and the look on their faces when there was a late rendition of the "Dairy song" was absolutely priceless!
Now we have a run of three home games where we need to kick on and move towards the 50 point mark as soon as possible. Hopefully we can drag plenty of locals to PVR and give them plenty to shout about..
Great improvisation and touch from Alexander in the three goals, that second goal was fantastic, really difficult to control and turn under such close pressure, but like all good players he made the difficult look easy. Something that has held us back all season is we didnt have a successful back up in attack for Ade or Stefan, so if either of them was missing we were light in attack. It looks like Alexander may fix that.
After the constant tactical repeat failure of playing long balls to Ade isolated up front, half a pitch away from his nearest team mate, it is great that he now has a highly mobile striking partner to work closely with, and share assists with each other.
In other attacks in this game we finally had enough guys up to support and it is just a shame so much time was wasted this season learning the problem with playing too defensively is you cant consistently win if you dont attack enough. Because of that excessive caution this was only our 5th win in our last 22 league matches. But if the penny has finally dropped and we keep playing attacking football, we will win again before the season ends! Oh yes, trust me!
