I need to understand why they back him. It would be naive to suggest the board aren't seeing the same things as the fans so what's the attraction to feeney - involvement in other ways alla the American academy, friendships with owners?
I think as minimum some context would be helpful. I don't buy any of the other excuses around new squad, recruitment etc.
Please remember. These are tough tough games against top top teams and Rome wasnt built in a day or even over the course of a football season it seems. Whens the next home game? I intend to paint a door at home and spend the afternoon watching it dry. Far more entertaining than watching Fenny ball.
At least one scout there tonight. Said he was looking at a Hemel Player although he didnt seem too sure. After seeing the game I cannot think any team would be interested in our players for next seaso.

Wow. That was ****. Only 419 turned up to watch they knew would be ****, presumably like me season ticket holders.
I was watching the match, and thinking it was like the famous Happy Days "jumping the shark" episode, which in case you don't know it was infamous, as it was the best example of scraping the barrel, where they had run out of decent story lines, so to pad out an episode had Fonzie waterskiing over a shark. We scraped the barrel in this match. One of my proudest moments this season was when we played Hemel away and won, and one of their players said, dejectedly after the match, we had beaten them up front to back.
Watching this match I remembered that, and was struck how backwards we have gone. We didn't control anything.
The king of self serving spin, no, let's put that in capital to make it stand out more clearly, THE KING OF SELF SERVING SPIN will come up with his predictable self serving nonsense, trying to make a defeat into a moral victory.
But AGAIN WE HAD NO SHOTS ON TARGET. Three home games, successively no shots on target, two shots on target, no shots on target. 1 point out of 9 atr home from medium opponents. Story of the seaaon really.
I moved around the ground during the match, and was listening to fans watching, some said "No shape to the team" spot on, Ade and George were in attacking positions, Stefan was perfectly linking behind, but no one else was connected with our attacks (did we have any?) and I heard what I have also thought, take away our two wins against Tonbridge, and we'd be fighting relegation.
I believe, "If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem". I am going to write to the Chairman and the head of the supporters on the board, and spell out very clearly my concerns.
I also like another London team, who appointed a manager who DAZZLED them, Pelegrini, ex Man City manager so they wanted to latch on to some reflected glory from being associated with such a manager with high credentials. What they didn't realise is he was a crap manager, who had always had loads of money (more than other teams) so bought any success he had. When he had no extra money at another club, his limitations as a manger were obvious to everyone. Warren has played INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL, Warren has managed in HIGHER DIVISIONS. But look at his results for the last five months, and you realise that background it TOTALLY IRRELEVANT, what matters is points now in the league, and two shots on target in 3 home games, and lowering attendances who can see what someone on the club's twitter said, "this guy won't get you where you want to go" and someone else amusingly (semi accurately, as he has hair) called Warren a "bald fraud". Does ANYONE think he can improve things? Does he know what is wrong with his team? If there is, please say what gives you that belief, as no one can see any hope, apart from the owner, who ignores the fact we have only won 4 out of the last 18 games under him. The team were lovely tonight, doing their absolute best, but hopelessly mismanaged, just sticking to the same formation that hasn't worked for month after month after month. Cameron and Antony YET AGAIN weren't even in the squad, George Alexander who hasn't had a shot for two games now was chosen ahead of Antony who scored in three games in a row while on loan. Funny how our players do better on loan or at other clubs than under Warren. It makes me wonder how our squad, who I totally believe in, would have done under a different manager. It's not the players, it's the manager.
Sorry, this performance tonight was the final straw for me, 5 wins in the last 25 league games, 20%, that will no doubt be fraudulently misrepresented to improve their stats by someone who one can guess who on Wikipedia.
(Yes, this is long isnt it, but hang on, it is true and accurate, and not hiding from the truth in the way certain people hide from the truth, despite WORSE RESULTS, LOWER ATTENDANCES THAN LAST YEAR.
Don't be distracted by the freak first two months, HOW HAVE WE DONE SINCE OCTOBER?
This is turning out to be such a waste of a season, ****e hoofball ...was going to type football, but its nothing like football.
To be honest that style of football has been there throughout. I remember getting annoyed in the first game at Taunton where we were way way too direct and as soon as it seems we can't break a team down, it gets more and more desperate. Fisher at home was another case in point - the lowest ranked team left in the cup at that point and we dished up long balls to their two massive centre halves time and time again. Chelmsford at home identical - picked out the lump every time
The style of football has been abysmal from day 1 - we were just getting away with it in the early weeks.
The few exceptions where we got it down the flanks and played a bit of football - Cheshunt (h), Hemel 2nd half (a) and Oxford City......well, lets just leave it there. If the manager can't see it when Mr Magoo can then god only help us
Shambles on and off the field, disjointed on the field, clueless on the bench.
What we saw last night with the desperation of bringing on a CB up top just because we won a free kick and the keeper going up for a corner, topped with just the shouting at fans and just the general atmosphere would be anyone else's last game in charge, but we all know.that ain't gonna be the case with us, we'll just carry on embarrassing ourselves.
We're training mornings 2/3 times a week depending on games and for that paying players a premium because they can't have another job, playing against teams training 1/2 times a week in evenings depending on games, on half the money and who go to work during the day, yet every game every week we are second best in every department. Club going absolutely nowhere with him in charge and that includes all these academy links, all this stuff never takes off and is just the usual waffle.
