on behalf of Sally,Steve and myself Id like to thank every single person who bought 50/50 draw tickets this season. Tickets sales exceeded £8000 with over £4000 going into WUSA funds. Special thanks to Vicki and Roy who stepped in when Sally, Steve and I were unavailable. Enjoy the off season and well see you in July for the preseason friendlies.

Many thanks for collecting my turnstile tax on a regular basis. It has been a pleasure

I agree a great effort but money going to WUSA?
From what we have read here lately this means money going to the owners who can't put two words together to the supporters about the future of the club? I used to buy these tickets too, but not now.

I think most people who buy a ticket for a £1 are just hoping for a prize of £100+ and don't really know or care where it goes.

For those that stand in the cold and rain selling those tickets - well done.

The sellers are WUSA members. They will not force you to buy tickets. Next season there will be a lot of long distance away games and maybe WUSA will subsidise a coach but they cannot do that without funds. All big spends are voted on by the members so you could join and have a say but it's your choice just as buying tickets is.
