I always find Warren's interviews amusing, as he comes up with such nonsense, in this case, "I take criticism on the chin, Ive no problems." except he blocks any criticism out, and gets angry if he is criticised. And People probably dont like what I say because I always speak the truth." is hilarious, as he tells so many porkies to cover up his poor performance, so if you look closely at what he says lots of it is not true. But overall a welcome clear view of things.

I think Warren's biggest lesson is to be realistic and adjust to the lower standard of players than he is used to, instead of getting angry and frustrated about that. The fact is at this level players will be inconsistent, his aim has to be to make them as consistent as possible, recognising consistency will be lower than players at higher levels, so it is pointless demoralising them by going on and on about how inconsistent they are.

Fair's fair, if something is bad I say it is bad, if something is good I say it is good, and rightly or wrongly I think James interview was a turning point, as after it in the league we P8, W5, D1, L2, so actually team consistency really rose. Ebbsfleet taught us a lesson in the first half, having so many options to pass to, but we showed we had learned from that, and we did that against Hampton in the second half of the best football spell I saw us play apart from the first half against Oxford.

Like everyone I wonder what the manager's contract renewal decision will be. I am always interested how others think, so asked my son should we reappoint a manager who is inconsistent, and had 2 good months, 6 bad months, then 1 good month, and that last month suggested he may finally have learned the necessary lessons, but in the season overall was unsuccessful. Or bring in a new manager? My son said he thought we should keep the manager!
