Cant remember when I last wore a tie possibly when a mate was made Mayor of Greenwich 10 years ago. However I have been asked today about a club tie. I have requested a quote from a company that makes ties based on the design of the current one that Danny has on today. As soon as I know a price I will post on here. Of course I have to ensure they are of a decent quality as it will be a company I have not dealt with before.

If I order a pure silk tie they have quoted a price which we would need to sell at £25 each (£22.50 WUSA) however this is based on selling 50 pieces. I can order a minimum of 25 but this would increase price to £35 (£31.50) each.
A Polyester Straight tie would work out at £15 (£13.50) if I buy 50 raising to £25 (£22.50) if I get 25.
Having seen the website I rather like the look of the silk design even though they are rather expensive. I have requested free samples and once obtained will have available in the club shop.

This one I can get to order with no minimum quantity. Cost will be £16 and a sample will be in shop. As a bonus you can have club crest placed anywhere on tie. The sample is around 5 inches from bottom of the V
