We have a meeting booked online with New Balance next Thursday to discuss what other items of theirs we can stock in club shop. Obviously we are not going to stock massive amounts of different lines but we would like to know your ideas. Please make (sensible) suggestions in replies to this thread and we will do our best to come up with something.
I have signed off on the mini kits today so NB can now start production. Still no firm date on replica shirts arriving but this will be raised on Thursday. Some sizes are already running low on pre order so I would advise placing your orders asap.

We have plenty (around 100) of baseball caps in red, navy and black with normal crest. I will ask NB but they will only be normal badge. Our other suppliers who we have an excellent relationship with have both said their machines cannot reproduce the quality of the 60th crest.
FYI I understand all team leisure items from NB are normal crest.

Of the last 8 pin badges 2 were butterfly and 6 brooch type. I did bow down to fan complaints on this as I prefer butterfly clips as easier to mount in display case (yes I am sad).
Once the 60th anniversary badges are all sold the next one will also be brooch type.

This seems such an easy question, but in reality its not.
Assuming cash flow is tight, everything purchased is a gamble. What suits one person, does not suit another.
Im no expert, but if we were divide the potential purchasers into groups this may assist in drilling down into things that may be suitable.
We have groups of people who work in an office, what would they want? Decent pens, key rings, stickers, buying seasonal things like diaries are only an idea from late October till the start of the New Year.
Those who work out in the field may want pens, pencils, something for the van.
Very young fans may be happy with a Welling cuddly toy.
Older young people may want something for their mobiles.
For me, Id be happy with a signed team photo or some rubber beer mats.
This, I am sure youve looked at already and I certainly do not want to disrespect anyone who is involved in the decision making. But its just a thought.
We had a very interesting meeting with our NB account manager this morning. No news yet on shirts being delivered but she will be checking with the factory and letting us know asap. The online shop where fans can buy direct from NB is to become live again. We have asked for items on here to include gilets, coats, training tops, shorts and socks among other things that we will not be stocking in the PVR Megastore.
To answer points raised in this thread:
Nigel and The Poet As stated previously we have a massive amount of caps in stock.
Welling68 and Marmite on Toast We can get bucket hats. Minimum order is 50 which can be split with sizes and colours. Trouble is unlike baseball caps, beanies and bobble hats these are not one size fits most. They come in 4 different sizes. I would not know how many of each to order plus they would retail at around £12-£13 which I think is a bit much.
Wingsmad coats should be in the NB online shop when it goes live.
Teatowel We already have pens, key rings and stickers plus cuddly toys. With so many different mobile around it is impossible to get items that would please everyone
Odin73 I still have one somewhere they were found on ebay and a few were bought. Will see if they are still around.
Fans are reminded of the shop function on the main wellingunited.com website. If you go on the site and click on shop you will see photographs of everything we have (or will have when replicas arrive) in the shop apart from mini kits and wristbands. Yazza who posts on here and Olly have done an excellent job in updating this.
