There was parking at the ground but we got there about 2 hours before kick off so got a space quite easily! I reckon there will be a decent crowd for this one so best to get there early to stand a chance of getting a space.

From memory, the car park only holds probably 50 cars, so take off officials/players then there are few spaces left.  There is however plenty of street parking around within 400 metres (except possibly the main road) and the ground backs on to a park - so very similar to our ground with the exception of the small car park.  Friendly club and supporters - we will be welcome.

1 seat still available if anyone is interested. Very proud our fans have filled a coach especially when I have seen posts that big clubs like S****horpe and York cancelled coaches due to lack of support. If all goes well I will suggest to the WUSA committee we run some more. Especially if we meet Liverpool in the semi final after knocking out Chelsea (I can dream).

As per Dave's email, you probably need to text or email the address in Dave's signature.

I got tickets by e mailing Dave at the e mail address in his signature wusashop@gmail.com

Last season coaches kept getting cancelled due to lack of numbers, so it is great this season Gosport is a sell out, as we have finally got a quality manager giving us consistently good football, and the results are now starting to match this, after we kicked off with 4 losses our last 7 games are W3, D2, L2.

I laughed thinking about our past managerial appointments, I mean, which other club could manage to appoint Steve Lovell AND Peter Taylor AND that Unmentionable one, all in the same season!

Thank goodness we have finally got the manager right.

Coach is fully booked and I have a waiting list in case of cancellations.
I am not travelling myself but I will be there on Saturday morning to see everyone on board and to open shop if anyone needs anything.

I have been kicking myself at missing the FA cup game against Dartford, as it struck after that game me a league campaign is 46 matches, so not easy to watch all the matches in a league campaign, whereas a cup campaign is more compact, so one can follow the whole of a cup campaign more easily. And apart from that stupid first half in our first game against Truro we have matched everyone we have played, so now we have an experienced attack it is game on.

I looked to see our record in the FA cup, and, diplomatically, it isn't outstanding, towards the bottom of the page of our Wikipedia entry is a table showing our league and cup performances in the 20 years since 2003/4, and we have made QR2 7 times, QR 3 twice, QR4 8 times, R1 twice, R2 once, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welling_United_F.C.

The tantalising thing is we are just two wins away from making the first round, which would be amazing, the problem is Gosport will be thinking they are that close too. As long as it is us, may the best team win.
