Nice to have a programme for the game against Yeovil, but why wasn't the league table in it ? Also the club missed an opportunity to make buckets full of money at the bar with all of the Yeovil fans they bought down with the turnstiles not opening until 1.30. Which the pub next door made a killing. The pub was very full from 1 o clock onwards until kickoff. I do not understand why the turnstiles open at 1.30 instead of 1o/c to incorporate the football on the television. There was a time where the turnstiles used to open at 12.30. Does not club want to make money. I understand the you have to staff the bar etc, but all you need is for 10 people to but a drink and the club have paid for the early opening. It's not rocket science.
I was walking back to the station behind a couple of Yeovil fans. They were saying they thought the ground was better than they expected, it was good to be able to drink, they liked the lack of segregation and that there was no trouble in the ground. They said despite the result they'd enjoyed their trip to East London. I'm looking forward to going to Wales for the return game
I'd like the spare programme if you still have it. As you know I collect the match programmes. I had a meeting before the match and got to the ground late by which time the match programme was already sold out. I was disappointed especially as I thought there wouldn't even be one considering there hasn't been for the last few games.
