Pitch inspection tomorrow I see. How's it looking in South East London, oops Kent?

Clears skies and sunshine, meaning it will still be on as of tomorrow, then called off at midday Saturday after they've travelled.

Not quite sure what will be achieved by this.
can still see the park end being 50/50, yet warmer weather predicted overnight/Saturday.
Would a 8:00 AM inspection Saturday be more feasible?

Lets remember the club does not call it off it is a referee. As club would need to pay travel etc for Truro if called off late I expect a local referee to turn up tomorrow. We cannot afford to pay that sort of bill as I am sure Truro wasnt when they called off their Dartford game.

They are travelling up Friday afternoon, if we call it off Saturday then I believe we are liable for their travel and hotel cost's. Which to be quite honest is a bit rich considering the stroke they have just pulled

January sunshine takes a long time to thaw out frozen surfaces. my back garden is rock hard and the shaded parts are unlikely to have thawed out by Saturday afternoon so I'm doubtful that the shaded parts of PVR (or JHSHCS) in time. It's certainly a risk.

To be fair if we were playing in the west country and the game got called off after we had left then we would be totally cheesed off to say the least.

Probably done us a favour, and no doubt Bloor had his fingers crossed for this outcome.
If you have to play the team farthest away, why not at home on a Tuesday night.
Coupled with losing Adom, probably the best outcome.

Agreed. It also helps with us having a game on Monday evening.

Ah?! Reading between the lines, we've signed Riverstown as Kain Adom's replacement! That guarantees our safety!
