I have obviously touched a nerve. I was listening last night but did miss exactly what players were signed by the previous manager on big money thus eating massively in to this seasons budget? The only players I can remember being signed or retained before the new manager arrived were Will Wood, Cameron Andrews Lewis White and Antony Papadopoulos. forgive me, if I've forgotten anyone. I do remember the signings of Lee Worgan, James Vaughan and Mitch Dickenson, not saying they are bad players before anyone jumps down my throat, but we didn't get value for money and they all come down from Eastbourne. He has also made some other very poor signing too. Not every mistake can be blamed on the budget there have been some awful decisions around team selection with clearly better players left on the bench. It is clear Danny Bloor is overly reliant on the coaches around him so maybe it's the coaches that were successful because their playing style suited their playing surface? Don't remember them actually winning anything though.
Why did everyone want Steve Lovell sacked then? He had zero budget so results weren't his fault were they.
Anyway, if you think a manager that delivers 4 wins from 27 games is good then you are either easily pleased or delusional but hey ho, the managerial position is always beyond our control anyway. The good thing is that at least everyone else is happy with the manager it's only me that isn't. The opposite to last season so with the majority happy that's good.
Perhaps for next season we could employ a goldfish as manager that would be cheap, give it no playing budget and it won't be it's fault when we lose continually. No, scrub that, better make it a parrot because it's got to be able to say Up the Wings
You've touched a nerve? You couldn't touch water if you fell out of a boat.
There are some players who you've mentioned that were signed before Bloor joined that are on, from what I've heard high wages, which means to assemble a squad on an even smaller budget is very difficult.
I do agree with you that Danny has at times made some questionable decisions, Daniel Carr anyone!? He will admit that himself I'm sure.
I'm not saying 4 wins from 27 is good at all, it's a very poor record, but I think there's clear reasons why it's happened. Going into Christmas last season we had 1 win in 11, but I didn't see you coming on here and calling the manager awful then?
As a lot of people have said on here, I don't see who, with the resources available, could do any better, and that's why I wouldn't change the manager.

Alan, you need to look at context of results, instead of just thinking "4 wins from 27 league games is bad, so sack the manager".
I read something about football recently that really struck me, as I'd never actually thought about it before. It was saying the most important thing in a football manager is the ability to get on with people. Until then I'd have said the most important thing is tactics and all that side, but actually, that point is true, you have to be able to get on with people to get your ideas across, and if you cant do that (think Troy Deeney, Frank Lampard etc) then you fail as a manager.
Danny's greatest strength as a football manager is his ability to connect with players and fans and gain their support. There are big gaps in his tactical side, we dont defend corners well, we dont take them well or creatively so hardly score from them, and we have always been lightweight in supporting strikers, so dont score enough. But it is clear he relies a lot on his coaching team, while he concentrates on his areas of influence, and they clearly didnt have the answers, so rightly have gone.
The golden thing a manager needs is time with his players to get his ideas across. Up to now he's training only twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and games often falling on Tuesdays so presumably then only having one training session a week. You try getting a good start with a competitive team on one training session a week against much more settled experienced teams. This is why the second half of the season is so important, by now he has had time to get ideas across. We have played really well in all second half of the season games and just need that first league win to get the ball rolling and then climb up to 5th from bottom.

Up until now whilst not agreeing with the majority of what youve said, you did make some valid points. The above though was complete rabble. Youve let your emotions get the better of you sir.

Let's be fair for clarity I assume the blowing of the budget occurred in feeneys first season? Payne, azeez, etc I.e. there was a sum to cover last and this, maybe more seasons which was heavily blown in one go opposed to feeneys signings as Alan mentions above? Wood, white etc?
I think the point that was raised on Wednesday was that the previous manager signed some of the players in pre-season and they are on a lot more money than they should be, which makes the managers pot a bit smaller.
