They are 14 points above us. If a club goes into administration do they get points deducted, transfer ban, or anything that could help us?!
Prior to 2004 I cannot find any points deduction to clubs going into administration. Since then I have seen points deductions ranging from 6 to 25. Obviously the powers that be will investigate and make a decision.

Osborne has also stood down as club chairman and the club is set to be deducted 10 points, dropping them from 11th to 18th in the National League South table, four points above relegation to the Southern League.
With a 10 points deduction Torquay would be 4 points above us with us having a game in hand. But they have only won 1/15 points recently, we have got 11/15 points recently, so we look well placed to overtake them.
Add unsuccessful Dover and Havant into the mix, and the chaos at Truro and Taunton with the inspired groundshare on an unplayable pitch, and maybe one or two Welling fans may join me and The Poet into believing we will stay up!
Sections 13A spells out the 10 point deduction applies for this season.
13B spell out that if the debts aren't paid or payment schedule agreed by the next League AGM (in June?) Taunton will be automatically relegated this season.
So if Taunton manage to finish out of the bottom 4, which now starts to look unlikely, as today the owner and manager have quit, and players may want to follow them out if they are not sure of getting paid, it is quite possible as it stands that the final 4th from bottom team wont know until that next league AGM is held in the summer if they or Taunton are going down.
The owner apparently put £5m into the club, no idea how much of that is debt that needs to be repaid to others, but as they could also face a 10 points deduction next season they arent that attractive an option to buy, so not that likely to repay their debts.

Taunton or Torquay?
As far as I'm concerned, if we keep winning we won't need to bother about what fun and games are going on at other clubs. I know that we had reprieves in our Conference days but I don't want to have to depend on that again.
