Ive never been into the clubhouse when weve been playing away, but looking forward to listening to the commentary this evening made me think; why dont we have the commentary on in the club house? Id certainly enjoy the match more with a pint and fellow supporters around me.
It would be easy enough to get Radio Wings in the bar for the away matches, the only thing is that you would need say 40 or 50 people in there to warrant opening up
If the costs and interest level can be worked out Id be prepared to consider sponsoring the first evening to ensure the club didnt end up in deficit. One to work on for next season?

This is where having the National League TV comes back to being a good idea again, for fans who cannot attend can at least watch in the club house with a couple pints to give it some kind of matchday feel.

I think this is a brilliant idea and should be trialed at the start of next season. As we know for the first couple weeks we play Sat, Tues, Sat, Tues ect, with the marquee now up and running properly we can capitalize on longer daylight hours and hopefully a bit of nice weather included to make it appealing for fans to want to come listen if they can't make it to fixtures themselves.
Strangely I was in a conversation with someone in shop yesterday who was saying it might have been nice to open the bar and listen to Nigel and Mark. I had intended to raise this on Saturday. The only problem I forsee being able to do every game due to venue hire which is a valuble income for the club. However unless both floors were booked I am sure it could become a valuable asset for both fans and club.
