I would be more interested on the early bird season ticketing issues mate please?
The seating/standing pricing and the fact juniors are quoted on the web site as 11 - 17, whereas at the ticketing portal 11 - 16.
Seems to have been very rushed with no form of proof reading prior.
Thanks.

Another great and enthusiastic update, thank you and well done. Picking a very small hole, I see there's a chance for fans to have a say on naming the marquee bar, which is nice, but I think it's also offered as part of the sponsorship package (I may have that wrong)? Personally I'm happy for Welling to drive more income in.

Are there plans to publish a retained list? (Apologies, you can tell I'm missing it already) :)

Youre spot on regarding the sponsorship of the marquee. Renaming the marquee will leave the marquee with a permanent name for the long term which the fans have chosen, whereas, if sponsored the marquee will still be called the name the fans will chose. An idea could include The *insert company* Barrie Hobbins bar

Chatting to someone this morning at the ground spoke about retained lists. Neither of us could remember Welling ever publishing one in the past. Now that things have changed with a new outlook I would hope this will change.

I have been made aware the issue has been resolved. Just a simple error so we do apologise. To say it was rushed can be argued, we have a fantastic social media admin who works hours and hours sorting everything out. Hopefully its all sorted from your end too! Thanks for the feedback it is much appreciate!

Its still early doors, plus not many clubs at this level do actually post a retained list due to various incomings / outgoings right until the first whistle. What I will say is, its being discussed and please take into account the amount of loan players we did have last year!  Its up to the management as of who / when they sign so when we know it will be communicated just like everything else has been. Thanks for your comment, Im sure theyll be an update in the near future

Something we need to remember regarding new players. If Rod wants to sign a player from the Efl then that often cannot happen till 1st July. This is due to players being contracted upto 30th June. Personally I am happy to wait and see. For the first time since the Jamie Day era I am more relaxed and confident going into the close season.

Rod is probably in discussion with the players that he wants to keep, but they may be keeping their options open. He said that at the end of the season that once the loanees had gone, the squad was relatively small and that he would be talking to all of the players about their intentions. There are probably very few who have been released, as such, as he may want to look at the fringe players (who he hasn't really seen in match action) during the pre-season campaign.

The Curse of Alan is so strong Rod is the only Welling manager to have survived signing Alan's programme! But Alan got the Welling team to sign his programme at Slough, so one can scientifically confirm from this not a single player will be back with us next season!

It is strange how differently managers approach their team for next year, Dover got relegated, but seem to want to keep most of that unsuccessful squad, whereas Maidstone had a cracking season, great cup run to the 5th round beating league teams, and a play off spot, but their manager has pretty much broken that team up by releasing so many now, and their fans are worried that this is a dangerous gamble by him. It's going to be his second season, I wonder if this breaking up a successful side is a beginner's mistake? Interesting to see how their next season goes.

On the one hand it would be interesting to see our player retention list, but so many lists are just a few confirmed renewals, a few released, and lots still in negotiation that early lists don't really make that much clear, so happy to wait for a clearer idea until July and our pre-season friendly squads.
