He has indeed signed for Margate as has Justin Skinner who joins former Gravesend teammates Steve McKimm and Lee Protheroe who signed last week.

Also of interest to some will be that Robin Trott included former Wings Dean Standen and Charlie Mitten in his retained list.

The return to Hartsdown Road has seen a 208% increase in average attendance bringing it up to 690, 84 more than Welling's average. They have a new Chairman and recently appointed Robin Trott who will be eager to establish himself as a Manager. Their future certainly looks a lot brighter.

This probably goes with a previous thread abut money but bearing in mind what was said recently about JP's ability at this level, its certainly not about proving himself if he wants to drop down a division or so.

Margate have come into a few bob from what I am seeing but frightningly for us I feel will be Fisher. Weymouth proved this last season in that they were the Chelsea of the Conf South and if the Fish are full time at this level its daunting for all to see. If you add into the equation the amount that Lewes are splashing around it looks like that what was happening at Conf National level is now starting to spread down the leagues.

More worringly is that I doubt whether we can compete with this level of riches, which leads Ade with a difficult situation. He knows the budget and will work to it but uncovereing the likes of Danny Kedwell playing lower league football and bringing him on does not happen all that often.

I would like to keep things on the front foot but this is a worrying trend.
