Call me a bit keen, but I am sure like most Wings fans we've all had a thorough scout through of the fixtures list. If anyone is looking for a slightly cheaper route and bit different mode of transport from the long train and car ridescurrently Eastern Airways are selling tickets to Newquay from London Gatwick for just £39.99

Before your time Jake but I'm sure someone will name the year Welling supporters flew to Newcastle for the Bishop Auckland or Blyth Spartans FA Trophy (i think) match?

Id love to see those kind of numbers again, although granted it is only Truro away and not the heights of Newcastle.

Already looked at this option.
Thinking of out Saturday, back Sunday.
The problem being getting to/from Newquay to Truro.
Dont fancy the bus from the airport, but if this has legs, a group mini bus type taxi would work.
Is this something the supporters club could tout?
I am sure if you got 20 takers, you could drive down a sensible deal.
Worth asking what the club are planning? Could get a decent deal if the team went along also.

I know at least 5 people have booked the flight from Gatwick and an additional 5 booking next week, bringing the total up to 10 - as you said the bus from the airport to Truro is not exactly ideal if travelling alone/ small numbers.

If 16 to 20 (bare minimum) Wings fans made themselves known that this is the route they intend to take then I am sure an 'official' (if the club want to take responsibility) or fans coach/ minibus could be arranged at a friendly cost for supporters.

A taxi from Newquay to Truro is only £30-40 which is a tenner each if travelling in a group so not too bad at all.

I know of about 10 people doing this route, should be good crack.

Just got a rough estimate for a 20ish seater which would be £140.00  This is for a single trip.

Just as a heads up, compare the flight to Great Western Trains. Both modes of transport would require an overnight stop in the west country. Train advance purchase from London is £121 return - or around £80 with valid railcard at current prices and takes 5+ hours from Paddington.
