I will not be doing the stewarding/ part security for the first half of this season, due to the fact that I have got to have a hip replacement in September ( hopefully). I will try and watch some of the matches, but I cannot stand for 4 hours!  I have been working at the club for 22 years without missing any home games. As many of you know I started working in the turnstiles under Barrie Hobbins rein. Many of the fans have seen me with a walking stick at some of the friendly matches, that's how bad my hips are. I will be at the Aveley match on Saturday and will be driving to Bath the following Saturday.
