As Rod mentioned, never took our chances, and therefore lost.
Terrible playing conditions, but thats no excuse.

A distinct lack of comments regarding the match. After a dire first half when we conceded a definite offside goal, our play improved dramatically for the opening 20 mins of the 2nd half when we really should have scored a couple of goals. However a lack of quality and creativity in midfield was our undoing.

A useful cameo from our latest loan signing, Theo, at least gives some hope for future matches.

To the naked eye this looks onside, I wonder where the lines would have fallen had it gone to VAR.

Interesting. I was in the stand, as indeed were Mark and Nigel, and whilst I was not directly in line it did appear the player was offside. Also the lino was behind play at the time which made it difficult to make a decision.
