Don't know about you guys, but with the close season ticking away, players leaving and so far none arrived, and with the best freebies already taken by other clubs I am starting to worry that we will miss the boat, and therefore not able to follow up a great season with an even better one.
I hope time proves me wrong and I am worrying for nothing.
I think Ade is on holiday at the moment which may well limit any signings to those with us last season. It has been reported that other players have been targetted and I would imagine that we will here news of player movement fairly soon after he returns.

Holiday or not, we have had players go, surely he oversaw Pins departure? Also we HAVE missed some great local players but ive heard We have made a signing from........................................GUESS??..............................................................................................
GRAVESEND!
. It is worrying, others are shaping their teams, snapping up what appear to be the best players and we are just letting players go.

We have had a result, Pinnock sure was injured but he still played 20-30 times and scored 2 goals. I would not have kept him. Just pray we start signing some quality players soon not the left overs.
Agreed, the lack of transfer activity is a bit worrying.
I played against Beckenham Town twice last season as i was still playing in the Kent Premier League, They were excellent last year, played very attractive football, their team was built under Gavin Rose who resigned last month. Without the manager I would hope we could offer Paul Vines and Ellis Green higher league football. They would both be great signings and would definately hold their own in this division.
I'd also like to see Kenny Beany of Dulwich Hamlet down at PVR, i think he is a great little player. Young, exciting and very talented. Very suprised he isn't playing at a higher level already.
Point taken but I dont think I would press the panic button yet. Yes we have lost some good players, but I think Ade's growing reputation will still enhance players to the club. I remain on the front foor and think we will see some quality signings before the season starts
