Forum has gone quiet on such a matter. In a way felt for Rod as I imagine he didn't have the budget to get the needed players for this level. Nothing against the owner as there is more money at this level now that maybe we can't keep up with. I hope we can enjoy football again next season in the league below (which is highly likely) and not get dragged down again which is always possible...
Expect to see the same in another 12 months or less.
Maybe it's budget. he's never said that an issue but the cycle of relegation battle, influx of players, change the manager - something wrong. Recruitment is def an issue.
Shame it didn't work out but I think this happening now is more a decision that suits rod I.e. he knows its done and getting out now.
From he's interviews past few weeks you could see how dejected and out of ideas he had become.
