Terrible tonight.  No urgency to get the ball forward, even when losing.  Sorry state of affairs and I'm not sure I want to go anymore this season  - I've never felt like this.  Need to rebuild on and off the pitch.

Luckily for me I've got a ticket for the Saracens game on Saturday. It was understadably very flat tonight. Kamara played really well.

The end of the season cannot come quickly enough now. This group of  players are not good enough what so ever but also what made it worst tonight they showed no heart or desire. When we got it back to 1-1 we should have been busting a gut for a winner, but I dont even think we got in there half. What a shambles.

A really sad time for the club, but one that has been in the making for over 4 years. Howard pointed to the lack of a long-term strategy that has contributed to these relegation battles, and the 40+ players that are signed and released each season have only weakened the team over the past 5 years.

Winfield and Anthony Grant at their ages are often carrying the team through matches, which at their ages of 36 and 37 respectively is simply not a viable solution for the long-term.

If we are not ready next season in what is almost certainly going to be a massively competitive Ishtmian League, could we potentially get dragged into another relegation battle? Dulwich and Cheshunt have shown it is not impossible.

Can't bring myself to go again this season and if we go down I doubt I'll be able to face up to the reality of Isthmian league football. The last few years since Steve King's departure have been a total and utter mess. If you'd told me we'd go from play off finalists to relegation certainties within 5-6 years I'd have been stunned. Thought the club was on the way up. Feeney was given huge resources and turned us into a lower mid table team playing awful football - opportunity missed. Since then it has gradually got worse. Bloor absolutely clueless, Rod/Kev managed the new manager bounce before presiding over an absolute **** show this season. Statham just holding the baby with no chance of survival after being dropped into an impossible situation

Nice letter from Howard but I'll only believe the club is on the up when I see it. Not knocking the fella or doubting how much of his own money he's put in but the simple facts are that despite that the club has been sinking fast, on and off the pitch. Absolutely zero chance of bouncing back up with the present set up. Depressing

A pathetic effort from a pathetic team. Changes should have been made long before it came to this.

Saw some promising moves in the first half but overall a we were not good enough and came up short again. Strap yourselves in for next season.

At this stage of the season we normally start discussing which players should be retained for next season, accepting that well be in the Isthmian league, who might want to stay & who would we want to keep?

Id keep our goalkeeper but let the rest move on.

Lovett is a great GK and deserves to play South or higher. The rest absolutely not. New manager, new squad. The recruitment must be better this summer.

He lives in the Birmingham area so I would doubt that is realistic although he did play for Billericay in that division. I think we should try to keep a few as it is very difficult to build a whole new squad from scratch. The other factor is whether we stick to day time training or go back to two evenings. I think we need some kind of hybrid where we can attract both perhaps with the younger ones training two days and then joining the seniors on a Thursday evening.

I have also assumed if relegated we would be put in Isthmian premier. Anyone know how it works? As I believe we are an old Southern League team. Could we be stuck in that with west county visits again or did everything change once Ryman pulled out. Genuine question as Ive no idea what happens next. Personally I would want Istmian if we dont get a miracle.

Well it includes Chichester and Bognor (who are likely down) but there are 3 teams within the M25 who play in the Southern League Premier South.

They must have moved the M25  - Lewes,  Horsham, Dover, Folkestone (etc).

They are headed to step 4. Shame a nice weekend in Hastings old town would have been nice.
