Covered stand taken shape. Looks ok and it is cooler underneath in this weather. Only problem is I never seem to be able to post photos upright IMG_4046.jpeg

Thanks Dave, looks like things are taking shape of the pitch.

However when I walked past earlier in the week the pitch looks in an awful state with water teaming onto it I guess to bed in the soil and covers over the top. TBH I have concerns if this will be ready for a pre season friendly in mid July?

I would suggest chaning your post to E&B have 3 home friendlies.

I have noticed a few clubs are playing friendlies at neutral grounds including Lingfield, Stansfeld, Greenwich Borough and Chislehurst Glebe. Mainly at Avery Hill Campus and Queen Marys sports ground. I imagine due to pitch work.

Their first PSF is next week and at Footcray Rugby Club. Lets hope pitch is ok for our games. Weather hasnt helped with the need for constant watering.

The pitch is a disgrace. I thought we had a full time grounds man now.

I suspect that 'that mob' may have to change them, just as Welling have by moving the VCD game to their ground. Our match on 16th July v Leyton Orient must be in doubt too.

If the PSF are moved/cancelled suddenly a season ticket doesn't look such good value with less games being played at PVR

True, but having looked at the pitch a couple of days ago, it doesn't look promising.

That would be the behind closed doors the club was looking for on its social media.

EDIT it is a BCD home game but NOT at PVR.
