Predictable result - can't believe bookmakers made us favourites, which shows just how little they know about this level. A massive struggle ahead

Its not negativity, its reality. Even the most ardent fans and dedicated followers have said how shambolic the defence looks all pre season so always knew we'd be conceding 3 or 4. Where does that cycle end? Who has seen anything promising enough in the defending to suggest a turn in fortunes?

That was a very poor display defensively today, and that justified all the worries we had pre season about something like this happening open day.

The attack was really good in many spells however, and John was absolutely fantastic down the wing causing them so many problems, and if Tom Leahy had not bottled the chance at 3-2 we could have gone on and potentially won it.

We can be a good football team, but we simply must be better in the 1st and 2nd phases, and be proactive in stopping danger than reactive.

Defeats happen, but it is the way it occurs that ultimately people remember.

Onto Aveley and let's hope for a good result.

Sorry but I struggle with all these differing strategies.
FFS, they are part time footballers.
Just stick to four at the back and pis around with the rest as you please.
Certainly need to sign Chi, if possible
