I cannot see many people attending the match on Tuesday (18th) after that performance on Saturday. 1 shot on target! I won't be going nor will my friends. A another waste of money.

Not even if there is a new manager in place? Surely, he should get the backing of our supporters as soon as possible.
Folkestone have just announced on twitter they'll be fielding an academy side, do well to get more than 300 tomorrow especially on the back of Saturday

I have estimated sub 150 for the past few weeks. Last time I remember being in a league cup was back in the Doc Martens days. On that occasion we hosted Eastbourne Borough with a sell out crowd of 140. The fog came down and Barrie had to set us a table by what is now the tea bar to give refunds. I hope I am wrong and a few more turn up.

I can imagine we will despite our terrible form as of late breeze through this tie with an academy side we are facing. I can hardly imagine that Folkestone would even want to progress anyway considering they are challenging for a league title, and this cup only serves as a distraction from a bigger prize at the end of the day from their point of view.
Obviously Ryan Maxwell coming in before the game will give us a massive boost coming into it, and I can imagine we will see many 1st team players and probably a few new signings in the match itself, as there is more pressure on us to get a result tomorrow that there is for Folkestone. Yes, the velocity cup is not a big trophy in all due respect, but it is still a way of guaging what Maxwell has at his disposal before the incredibly tough next 2 league games vs Billericay and Chatham, which will push us to our limits that is for sure.
I would love to go all the way and win this competition similar to what we did with the Kent Senior Cup last season and go and win it. If we were to somehow by the end of the season go down again, then at least winning this trophy would be something to look back upon and at least crack a smile at, even if not the biggest thing in the world.
Nothing to lose as well now we are out of the FA, FA Trophy, Kent and London Cups. All I want is to go to Park View Road on a cold Tuesday night and actually see us winning games of football playing a good attacking style which has been so cruelly been stripped away under many of our appointments in recent years.

Well I was wrong the Kent Football site says the crowd was 205 which is pretty good for a blooming cold night at a league cup game.
