Unfortunately, we have fallen to the point that we are playing against a YouTube team. They had 3 fans when we played them at their ground, and 2 of them were Aveley supporters who did not want to travel...

Played crap. How can the same team that only just lost to Averly play so badly like that??? Unless things improve we will get hammered next week against Folkestone ( away ). I cannot see me wasting my money on buying a season ticket in August.

What a waste of a cold afternoon. Hopeless in defence, all just kick and hope, Ive seen better performances from park side.

The first ten minutes were awful. We were miskicking, players getting a ball to the groin and Hashtag were knocking the ball around and getting in behind us. Our keeper kept us in the game.

The way I see it is that we have got a goalkeeper and back four more than capable at this level
We have forwards that can cause problems, and with Taylor on the wing similar.
The problem I see is the interlinking of the two.
We need a decent lumpy ball winning centre mid.
Someone who can sit around the centre circle and provide not only a defensive outlet, but can hold, win a free kick and turn defence into attack.
Todays game was simply defence, lump upfield, and return.
It didnt work after 10 mins, so why think it would after 80.
Did we have a shot on target today?

We need someone, or two, in the middle of the park who can dominate and turn defence into attack,
Players who can hold a ball, win a cheeky free kick, allow the team to reset and go again.

We could have gone on until Sunday and not scored against this mob today.

Defeats happen in football, and they happen at any time and any place. That is the nature of the sport.

But that today was truly diabolical, an absolute shocker from almost the first minute to the last. Hashtag came out 1st half and absolutely ran all over us for about 20-25 mins, and we should have gone behind when you look at some of the chances they had, especially the Foley save in the 18th minute. As we in the terrace got on the players back we began to wake up, but the hit and hope football was a tough watch, and apart from Ade's 1 on 1 and Sach's drag wide, we hardly created anything for all the times we ran forward.

Half time I thought we needed to show more urgency, but I had full faith in the management team to get on with it and tell the players to step it up. The downfall began when Foley misjudged the flight of the ball, allowing the man at the back post to head in which was a defensive hash. Their 2nd goal was yet again another blunder from Foley, who took too long on the ball, miskicked it and then it landed at their bloke for the tap in for 2-0. Both absolute shockers.

What agitated the terrace even more was that we came out after both of the goals more disjointed than before. Rest of the game we could hardly win any 2nd ball, and how they didn't finish us off with the chance they blazed over the bar who knows.

I accept that Hashtag were the better side and we deserved to lose, but the nature and the context of the defeat is exceptionally painful to swallow considering we had to win it. The only side that comes to PVR now where we will be odds on favourites to win is Potters Bar, but that game could be played in March for all we know, and by then they could reach form.

It is also grim reading that we are facing Folkestone next week, who dispatched Wingate with hardly any effort it looks like today. Maybe the club have to change gk for that game, because we will be punished brutally for any mistakes down there in their form.

We can be so so much better than that today, and the defeat fell at possibly the worst moment we could have imagined.

Desperately hoping we hit form again soon and we can consign today to the asheaps of history, but this could haunt us come April.

Have to change goalkeeper, leave off. What do you suggest, give the kit man a shift?
The whole team had an off day, and in fairness, the GK kept us in it to go in at HT 0-0.
I actually think he is a good GK, but anything other than safety first football on a pitch like ours, this time of year, is a mandatory requirement.

Everyone makes mistakes etc but it's not just the errors with his it's the kicking quality which is very poor. The formation of 3-5-2 didn't work today and John Ufuah really should have started. Bradley Sachs plays like a 40 yo veteran.

No energy, no pace, no first balls, barely any second balls. No creativity, no tactics, no stability for the team with the repeated ins and outs of players for short contracts. No heart, no zing.

Surely, no hope for staying up either
