It started on the 17th February and ends on the 19th March, so the club would of had to play the game before the end of Ramadan.
I don't really see the issue to be honest. The club most likely had the booking a long time ago, and couldn't move it.
The club often get criticised for poor business decisions, but at least they are trying to do something different to bring money in.

If it was just a temporary arrangement, for a few hours on a Friday afternoon, as we were originally led to believe then not a problem. It now seems to be permanent. If the local residents have been informed of that and are happy then fine although the club need to make alternative arrangements for its own supporters when the fanzone is not in use. Its not practical for disabled supporters to use the upstairs bar or its toilet facilities. We were lucky it was a mild evening on Tuesday.

That website Chris put up - for that £350k donation they want. Where is that going to be built?
Is there some plan behind the scenes to do away with the football club or move away permanantely for the ground to be built on? I thought the plans involved a gym and flats?
