We won 1-0 and then the site went down! Hopefully, the club won't now.

So that was all alright I suppose. Troy probably shouldn't have gone on at all, as it wasted what might have been a valuable sub at the 12/13 minute mark that could have been needed later. Goal was good, the early second half crossbar was unlucky. But, that was like watching Welling earlier this season: go one up, sit back, invite too much pressure, go asking to be equalised against. Bare in mind most won't expect points against Billericay, a single point against a Cray Wanderers who are undoubtedly favourites, and haven't had to play a game since Saturday just gone, is still a lot.

We won and that was all that mattered.. zero point even talking about the performance. Line in the sand

moment this, the club must learn its mistakes and move on up from

here. Whether it will time will tell  Special mention for Lekan & John been here all season, seen a lot of team mates/managers come and go and seen a lot of mess but stayed humble, head down and been a credit to the themselves and this club. For me Lekan is POTY and will go onto bigger and better things.

A great battle. With Potters down it was a massive potential banana skin as they'd play with no pressure. Thought they played well so it was good to see us stand up to that. Brilliant goal again. The rest was perfectly ugly. My heart rate at +6mins was silly, but again lots of sensible game management on show in the corners and set pieces to keep me out of A&E.

That 2-year contract looking a sweeter move now.

Safety in the league and another win under our belt. What a job this management team and the players have done since the 21st February, this is almost as good as what Rod and Kev did from a similar position a few years ago.

50 points is well within reach if we perform in our last 2 games, let's go for it.

A few weeks ago we looked nailed on to be relegated. It's such a relief that we now look likely to stay in this division. I really hope we can retain some of these players.

Where is this talk of safety coming from?

Not trying to be a downer, but it's mathematically still possible to be not only drawn into the bottom four (albeit very unlikely). The club twitter account also said safety was assured. One more point is needed to be certain?

5 points above drop zone so mathematical we need 2 points to be safe! But with the other clubs who have difficulty games I believe we are safe hopefully Saturday will confirm that !

I didn't think I was going bananas, I thought it wasn't mathematical yet. Some fans account on Twitter has put Welling in a "definitely in Isthmian Premier next season" list, also premature.
