Joe Vines was indeed at Lewes, where he was loaned out to AFC Wimbledon and he plied his trade at Bromley last season.

The Robins gave a debut to striker Mark Peters on Saturday, but he couldn't prevent them losing 4-0 at Welling.

The game's key moment came after 17 minutes, when Des Boateng was given a red card for a two-footed tackle.

Searle said: "Saturday was gut-wrenching, because it was a game we felt we could win.

"From the minute Des was sent off it affected the team and we paid the price."

We can all find good and bad reviews and as I have said on the Connie South board we can look forward to some 'eyes closed moments' the second before impact with Boateng around.

How about a good comment from the FA site regarding an FA Rep match 4 days later than the one you reported "it was The FA side which found the net in the 77th minute, Stuart Booth of Carshalton Athletic reacting first following a good run and cross by the impressive Des Boateng, also from Carshalton, to net from eight yards."

I'm pleased about the two Moores, I think Daniel has great potential. I'm not sure about Rowland though...

I think Danny Moore just needs more match experience and by the looks of it he's going to get it.

Fair Point Bruno but Mr Dessie has a few bone crunching performances against the wings. Im really worried we have no pace. Clarke crippled, Bod gone. Midfield looks one dimentional. Has Carthy signed? Is Daniel Moore the new flying machine?

I was expecting better quality signings, it appears Ade has just grabbed what he can. Hydie, although offering me out from the saftey of the penalty area, will i feel be the best signing as he will get Jamie Turner playing out of his socks. Id like to see Hydie on the bench as a sub every game and motivating them. What a great keeper to come in in emergencies.

I think it will be a close call between red cards between Vines and Boateng.

Come on Adie... Flying Winger needed, Midfield Dynamo and someone who has and will banged in 20 goals in this league. AND someone you actually want not just a body.

We have seen very little of Daniel on the pitch 18 mins in April, 55 mins in February and 55 mins in January and similar times at the start of the season. I think he played 3 full matches in the Basingstoke Trophy match, and the Chatham and Bromley KSC matches. From what I have seen he certainly has pace and he looks promising but it is difficult to assess him without a run of starts. Coming on from the bench for the odd 10 minutes is hardly the ideal background to make judgements, even seasoned pros would find it difficult to get into the rhythmn of a game unless of course the gameplan and pace of the game changed when they came on.

Don't know whats happening with Carthy or Bods other than Ade would like to keep them. Bods hasn't actually signed for the Gills as far as I know and as I'm on their newsletter email list I'm sure I would have picked it up.

There are still several places available in the squad and we are bound to see trialists in the pre season games. If effort is to be rewarded we will also see Ade pull in a couple of faces before the pre seasons.

Nowt that excites me there with any of the signings seems that the big fish have been caught and we are picking up the scraps and dont know what is worse Hyde signing or rowland resigning!

danny moore all he did was sit on the bench the boy needs a chance but suppose he is on peanuts and makes up numbers in the squad.

Sorry very negative i know but im not happy
