It was an emotional night at PVR tonight when last years under 16's held their Trophy Night since Pete Townsend, who has run the side with Ken Brooke since the team started out as Townbrook (excuse the spelling if I've got it wrong) will not be at Kens side next season. I'm sure he will be at a few games and he will certainly be continuing to track the lads progress with regular calls to Ken. Team captain Sam Wilson gave a short speech on behalf of the boys and made a pesentation.
The Players Player Trophy was awarded to Rishi Nankani.
I also took the opportunity to grab the photo below of the squad with their Fair Play Shield awarded by the Kent League.
I would like to thank Ken, Pete and the boys for inviting me to their Trophy Night and for affording me the honour of presenting Rishi with the Players Player award. I would also like to thank the parents for the warm welcome which they extended to me.

Bruno, as Ken said yesterday all of the team and parents would like to thank you for your support and bringing the team exposure to a wider audience. Hopefully this season or next the first team may reap the rewards. There are some talented players in this group with the potential to progress with the support and impute that they will now gain from training with the first team.
