In an exclusive interview with Kentish football John Bathurst, Chairman of Herne Bay FC, revealed that their first pre-season friendly with Lewes was postponed by mutual agreement as their pitch was probably more dangerous than a frozen pitch in February due to the drought and consequent water usage restrictions in force in the area.
