KM reports that Steve Perkins and Bods have signed new deals for the coming season. Bods was not offered a deal with Gillingham despite going back for a second week and had agreed with the Wings pre -season.
This is good news and a major boost. Bods certainly showed what he could do at the back end of last season and if Steve Perkins gets back into form before he was injured they are key players.
Apparantly our team at Beckenham was made up entirely of trialists reports the website
Bods signing has to be the best news of the close season.
Perks a very useful player whomif he can remain injury free is a definite asset.
YankyBrit technically true in so far as Mackie made a 14 minute appearance and sat on the bench for one match but really clutching at straws to claim him as a Welling United striker.

By all accounts its clutching at straws to call hima striker let alone a Welling one.
Paul Vines... is he fast?? I know he can find the net at Kent league (3 levels down) BUT can he make the jump up and if so why has no one snapped him up?
Great to have Bods signed up. If we have Bod and Che upfront if keds goes then it could be Inchy and tricky trevor all over again! (And it just might work!!)
Adie, come on son!! Well known midfiielder, another striker and some defensive cover. THEN lets see if you are positive in the press or will accept trop half again. PLEASE do not tell the lads top half is acceptable, i would have thought that given as we could still get in the play offs with 2 games to go that the play offs are a minimum of what is acceptable.
COYW! its there for the taking, Fisher have to improve, lewes havent got a ground or manager, farnboro deducted 10 points, cambridge in dissaray.. NO EXCUSES go for it and lets kick arse!
