Ade will give Daniel Bezanc, Luke Holmes and Mark Lovell until end of pre-season to see if they form part of this season's squad.

He says he will be happy if the score is under 10 against Charlton. Nothing like a bit of confidence then....

Super Value Bexley Times-its an old thing from previous Websites.

It used to be a good local paper but the KM has in my opinion taken over in terms of football news and its sticks to its local teams. The Bexley Times has gone as far afield as Millwall and Palace. Interestigly enough it is now free, so what does that tell you?

I don't see what your problem with them covering Millwall is. I support Millwall as well as Welling and I know I'm not the only one. I think it is a good thing they cover Millwall now because before it used to be all Charlton even though there are loads of Millwall fans around here.

I dont have a "problem" with them covering Millwall at all, in fact I am also a Millwall supporter. I just feel that with a title of "Bexley" it should focus more on what goes on under it nose, a bit like the council really and thier support of Charlton. I feel that if you want to find out about the team in your area eg Millwall you get the appropriate paper so maybe the South London Press

The problem with the South London Press is although their Millwall coverage is very good, they don't actually cover any news in Bexley. It is an inner London paper concentrating on Wandsworth, Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham and Greenwich boroughs. They aren't interested in anything that happens outside those 5 even if they are in south London. Their non-league coverage is almost non existent aside from AFC Wimbledon and we all know the only reasron they are covered in such depth is because they have so many fans and that equals more papers sold. It is the exact same problem with the Non-League Paper.

Overall I think Welling do get decent coverage in our local papers - the Messenger, Bexley Times and News Shopper. You mentioned about the BT being free now but then aren't they just following in the footsteps of the Bexley Extra and News Shopper? Also now that the Bexley Times is free that can only be a good thing for Welling in terms of attracting floating fans because there will be so many more people reading about the club every week who wouldn't have done before when you had to buy it.

Based on recent history it would appear that Ade regularly talks to the Bexley Extra (Kentish Mercury) sports writer Matthew Panting. This is certainly seems to be the most informed column as far as I am concerned.

I did not know that this paper was now free, its never come through my door, i live in Welling & still pay 50p for this rubbish, i remember when Charlton was not even covered & now we have Millwall as well, local papers should cover the true local teams Wellings coverage has got less & less, while other non league coverage has all but disappeard, they have not even published Wellings fixtures this year or the local FA Cup draw

If memory serves correctly News Shopper normally publish a fixture list as the season starts.

I guess the answer is then buy the SLP for the Millwall coverage and personally I would go for the KM. It also does a good review of the other clubs in the area such as Cray Wanderers.

If the SLP covers Greenwich how do clubs such as Greenwich Borough, Thamesmead Town etc get any coverage, seem  a shame really
