"Fisher manager Justin Edinburgh, speaking after a poor 1-0 defeat away to Ryman Premier club Chelmsford City, sensationally attacked and berated his players lack of commitment. Talking during a team bonding exercise, which meant keeping the Fisher players locked in at Melbourne Park, a full three hours after the game had ended. Edinburgh commented ‘’ I’m very upset with the way my team played today. These players need to realise that we do not have a devine right to win every game. I need to see more desire and hunger to win games, two quality’s we’re distinctly lacking in at present. We lost last week to Margate and now to Chelmsford, decent teams and yet both times we looked too casual.’’. A defiant Edinburgh continued ‘’ We need to approach games better. These players have to realise the campaign does not start on August 12th but now in pre season. I’m disappointed with the boys as I never thought I would have to question their desire.’’
