I am perfectly willing to conduct an interview to be broadcast LIVE on radio wings/conference south radio and even include a phone in where people can ask you questions.
I have been told you are willing to openly discuss matters.
Among the questions i would like to ask are..
1 Why have we reduced the budget given last years financially successful season.
2 Why can we not attract ONE player proven at this level
3 Why are we losing out on players such as Paul Booth, Andy Drury, Jay Samuels
4 What are you offering to potential fans in order for their custom through the gates
5 Why are you not financially backing the youth set up
6 Why are we still without a reserve team
7 If we are cutting budgets after an apparantly uccessful season are the club in danger of folding or merging with erith
8 Is the ground upto Conference grading
9 How long is eriths tenancy valid for and is it correct that they lease the ground from Welling NOT the council
10 Do you feel that Adrian should be spending the budget on players rather than dismissing Bluey and bringing in Neil Withington
11 Where do you see Welling in 3 seasons
12 Do you have any inclination to sell the club in the near future
13 What are YOU doing to bring Conference Football to park view road
14 What has the WSU acheived and how much have they raised in 2 seasons for the club and what has that enabled us to do?
15 Why of fthe pitch are we all over the place, changing training grounds every 2 seconds, signing players who dont turn up to training then we release them
16 why do we send anything other than a youth team out for the Mickey mouse cups?
17 If the club folded tomorrow where would that leave you and your family? Given you have moved from living under the stand to a nice house a pitch and putt from the ground?
18 Why have you never had a conventional chairman, as it is you who is refered to as owner/chairman. does paul websdale OWN and fund the club or You and your brother?
19 What does paul websdale bring to the table at welling united?
20 Why do you not search for a proper board of directors to include executive directors who fund and take the club forward. Steve Pain, Steve Holly, Alan Robinson and other businessmen from the region
21 Is it a myth that we are firmly run on budegts to not lose money. Does the club make money? Is there any future for the club at this level with your family running it, CAN you take the club forward?
PLUS any questions from other fans.
If you really do perport to be able to openly discuss matters with the fans, lets do it live where they can all listen, in a friendly manner and see how we can move this club on from the position it seems stuck in.

Surely you mean Dave Lawson in Q10. Neil is the fitness coach and was with us all last season.
As we have established in earlier postings the WSU is an independent ad hoc body of people raising funds for the development of Welling United with raised funds having been used for both the Club and supporters. I'm not sure how Graham would be qualified to answer the question beyond saying what the Club had received from WSU.
If you were to ask me Q17 I would tell you it was none of your effin business, end of interview, goodnight.

Nope he sacked bluey and previosly brought in Neil. Once bluey went he had to bring in a new physio. The other two were his actions
And there is the crux... To have moved from under the stand to a nice big house in welling costs mega £££S, My point would then be that the club exists to improve the life of the hobbins solely and football matters are a distinct second best.

JGFC, I think you raise some valid points but much of this is aimed at a personal nature.
Every club goes through what we see and maybe for year after year. Take Chelsea and what they endured until Mr A arrived and look at the state of Villa or Sunderland recently. I know these are at a higher level but you can see similarities. A budget is a budget and it is up to the manager to work within the constraints he sees.
I would prefer to wait and see the football start before I make any judgements.
Sorry I meant to add to the last post that of all the "meet the..." eves I found the one with the Hobbins to be far the best. They were honest open and did not shirk any questions. I would welcome another of these at sometime, not from a hostile point of view but to get their views and updates.
I think we all realise that they will not be there forever, but despite what some people may feel survival has always been there and we have not suffered in the same ways as the likes of Dover etc. Personally I feel they do well within the constraints of what they do.
As I said in my last post let the season start and then judge. The question you can then look at is are you a customer or a supporter.
I support the team not the owners... They have done nothing in 21 years, had over 3 million quid through the gates in that time a made a nice few quid. Far from progressing the club, they are stripping it and killing it. Managers and players come and go, so do the years but 2 things stay the same, lack of any success and the owners.
The club will grow and progress when they are no longer controlling it. I cannot believe that people fall for the crap they state. Deal in facts... We cannot compete, we sign lower league players, we reduce budgets (2 years running) , we have finished better than 9th twice in 20 years...
TRUE we should see what happens on the pitch... But how much mismanagement can you take.
Work out the finances and tell me where the money is going....

Some of the issues on which you, JGFC, base the questions must surely be self adulating supposition?
I remember, that after my film deal I had nearly a million in the bank. The producers had approached the club with an offer to film there an interview with PP, who was coach at the time. The club stalled, PP kept changing his mind, was apparently worried that Irish terrorists were gonna poo in the ladies etc, etc. -You get the pic.
I took lunch with Mark Goldberg (of Palace fame) in the Wimpy in Welling high street as it was. I had a burger and chips, he had a coffee.
I'd just flown in from LA and was staying at Ray Winstone's gaff. Ray drove me over and sat in his car (an old BMW) while Mark G told me he could get a league manager and half the Port Vale reserve team down to Wings, if he and I would buy the club and merge it with Bromley.
I said "**** that, we're not moving" and Goldberg got a bit lippy. he'd just been over to the (remaining) maxwell family's house for a pizza and chips. They'd told him Reading were gonna go all the way, and realise their father's ambitions, without Oxford being involved.
Dave Powell was there too, I remember now. He'd been staying with us since the Chippenham away game.
That evening, we met the brothers in a nice Chinese in Eltham but they did not want cash for the club, simple as that. Graham wanted a salary and pension and Barrie wanted a seat on the football league. It was a joke.
After that, we nearly bought Dulwich, just to merge the ****ers with Tooting, but it seemed an impossibility.
I banked the million and invested in a well-known Zoo/Nature park in Kent, that allows me to spank a monkey once in a while.
