Thought the Weston game was awful. Accepting it was the first of the season and players have to gel etc lets hope we can do better against Lewes.
The right back, Goodfellow was poor, hoping he improves as the things move on. We created little, never really looked like scoring in open play, think we had two decent chances and delivery from set pieces was woeful.
On the pluse's Che worked hard, Perks was solid and JT wasn't bothered for most of the game. Thought Des B had a good game as well
And the weather's not good either, still things will move on and we can if we apply ourselves reach last season's highes
Taking the game overall I would have said that it was not good but wouldn't say it was awful. I would agree that the first 65 minutes were a real let down but in my view the last 25 minutes saved the game from getting such a rating. The introduction of Benjamin and Sam in my view completely turned he game around and we immediately looked a different side who were capable of taking the game as we eventually did.
For me Benjamin and Sam brought some urgency into the game and looked impressive Daisy, Perks, Boateng and JT (though very lucky on a couple of occasions) were all solid Edusei showed some promise and I believe will, once he gets some matches under his belt, prove a valuable signing Che worked hard but never looked like scoring which is what I thought he is there for Guest's strengths aren't at left back Mooro was average Bods wasn't at his best Vines better than Goodfellow Goodfellow the promise he showed in psf did not materialise Rowland ???
I eagerly await the return of Keds and Solomon when we will see just what we are capable of.

When you sign all lower league players and trialists its a given that most will not be up to the standard. And we have signed all trialists and lower league players bar Edusei.
HAVING SAID THAT. Ive heard from all sources that Des Boateng played very well so i will take back my comment of him not being good enough, at least for the moment.
A very good win but it was against the Relegation favourites so you have to be realistic that it wasnt a good start to the season. Lewes failed to win so we will see how we compare to last season where we led and almost held on .
I would hope than Adie plays Benjamin left back at Lewes as thats his position after all!!
We also need to remember that this squad is Adrians, he brought them all in and gave them contracts.

Overall there were a few promising signs but one problem for me yesterday was Rowland. He was constantly out of position leaving the left back exposed and also if he was in his position on a number of occations he could of been free down the wing but he wasn't there.
Also what I found quite clever by Weston was the way they defended free kicks. The whole of the defence moving forward just before the ball is played making all our attacking options offside, they did it twice and it worked twice but I think that if they keep doing this they'll be caught out alot
Anyway nice to see 3 points on the board and here's hoping we can at least get a draw out of Lewes
