This Thursday night we [The Mighty Eastbourne Town FC] will be gracing the hollowed PVR turf.Is Colin still looking after it?
Anyway we are playing our FA Cup replay against VCD Athletic after a 2-2 draw at our place today. Thier ground is not complete yet I think hence the switch to PVR.
We will be bringing our usual array of flags,air horns et all and would appreciate a few more friendly faces in the sure to be tiny crowd. today we were 2-0 down till the last 15 minutes. Hopefully on Thursday our ex Tottenham player John Piercy will be playing[was unavailable today]
We have a useful side and this season are going for the Rymans South Div 1 by gaining 1st or 2nd in the Sussex county league. after doping a lot of ground works this past summer in rediness.
For me an ex Welling supporter this is a dream to see my adopted team,Town play at PVR. Would love to see some of the old faces

Colin certainly is still looking after it and considering the summer we have had he has done an excellent job once again. He's not unnaturally very protective of it and any abuse of it by players results in a word being had as at least one goalkeeper has found out to his cost this season and the crowds amusement - more power to his elbow I say.

Well we have a pro groundsman in our ranks and he rates the PVR pitch very highly,we are so looking forward to playing this replay.
