Despite his goals, I for one (and I suspect I am in the minority) wouldn't welcome Boothy back with open arms. Wanting to play for the Club counts for a lot in my book and he had the opportunity in the closed season and chose short term (perhaps very short term if the rumours are correct) financial gain.

What bloke in his right mind wouldn't take the wonga on offer at Lewes ??
If (and I suspect it might be a big if) Boothy is on the market then I would be delighted to see him back at PVR (on our terms) If that means sacrificing a couple of players then so be it.
I agree in part with White Socks. I dont like what boothy did (shaking Ades hand at Cmbridge to come home and then going to Lewes and say welling have offered x amount) but he wasnt happy at Welling as he was owed a few quid (alledgedly) and his mrs was in peterborough.
However, in the short term, Boothy and Keds would be awesome and if keds went we have a replacement and a few quid.
I say go get boothy but offer less than you offered before and no sign on fee. If he wants to be happy and local then he will come, if he doesnt then let him go. Agree with WS that if we have to let a couple go to get Paul then go for it while the season is still early.
