I'm a little confused about the status of the WSU which I believed operated independently of the Club and would appreciate some confirmation regarding the following. The Quiz night is advertised under the commercial heading on the Official website which implies that it is not a WSU fundraising event but a joint venture with WUFC. There is absolutely nothing inherently wrong with the WSU working as part of the Club but obviously if the WSU is independent it is not really appropriate for their events to be advertised in the commercial section of the Official website.

If the WSU is an independent 'ad hoc' body maybe the time and effort made in advertising the event on the Official site would have more appropriately been input into putting it on the WSU website and of course the posting made on this forum which has had a respectable 68 viewings.
