Just to let you know that even though he has had a really busy week, Ady is coming to take our training session tonight (Under 18's), for 2 hours in Beckenham. Top coach and all the lads can't wait!
Yes the boys really appreciate the support and encouragement that Adie is giving them at the moment. Hopefully they well keep performing to a high level and improve and progress as everyone hopes.
He has a unmistakable passion for all (well I would imagine almost all ) things Welling United; has created a team sitting in a play off place on peanuts; is respected by all (or nearly all) of those whose paths he crosses; has instilled a great atmosphere in the dressing room and has the team really buzzing; travels all over the country to watch sides; devotes time and has input into the senior youth side; and recognises that supporters are more than just mugs who pay their £10 over the turnstiles.
It is my honest opinion the club do not appreciate the precious asset which he undoubtably is and it concerns me each time I see a vacancy like that currently at Rushden and Diamonds arise.

Ady being at training last night seemed to give the boys a real lift and there was a certain buzz in everyone. It's just the sort of help Ken needs. Ken is very much in the same mould as Ady and works relentlessly for the U18's.
A big thanks to Ady for last night and hope all who reads this gets to some of the U18's games and see how Ken and Ady's hard work is, hopefully, helping Welling in the near future.
