Just got back from the U18 County match between Kent and London which ended in a goalless draw.

Rishi, Ian, Joel and Chris all started, Chris was substituted late in the match and the others played the full 90 minutes.

It was a well contested match between 2 evenly matched sides. Both sides had opportunities to win the match with the clearest cut chance falling to Kent very late in the match when all the hard work in a great move involving Welling players was done and the easiest part failed to produce what would undoubtably have been the match winning goal.

In my view all the Welling players gave a good account of themselves.

Well done to all involved for providing a tense, well fought and thoroughly enjoyable match despite the appalling weather which saw parts of the pitch very water laden.
