Well we have played a number of games now and had a chance to see whats what.
What do we think of the signings that Adi has made now.I think Botang has been excellant except for where he came on as a sub at Hornchurch.What about the rest of the players he has brought in to bring the age of the side down to must be early 20s.
Personally I think Boateng has been the best player so far this season and have been surprised that he has been on the bench recently. Think we have an issue in midfield the way Daisy plays he is creating stuff all over the place but Carthy plays gets too far forward sometimes and when the ball is cleared out to the edge of the box we have no one there. Boateng is the opposite he sits deeper and again when the ball is cleared to the edge of the box he is too far away. Needs to be balanced well.
Ellis Green looks good, last two games he has run the right back ragged but he does seem to tire in the second half. Ben Lewis looks very solid and I think him & Mooro have got a good partnership there. The rest the jury is still out on as we have not seen them play that much.
the thing we seem to really lack is a right back. Guesty is a good centre half but looks awkward at right back. Having seen Edusei at Left Back for the last couple of games maybe Leon will play right back when he's fit? Damn shame we can't get Luke Howell back thought he was excellent last year.
I would agree with pretty much everything so far. Only one who is maybe less of a sucess if Mark Goodfellow, dont know if he is still around. Sorry to be on his case but he was meant to be something at Thurrock but Ive not seen it.
