I was absolutely appalled in the 2nd half to hear cries of "Che you are a c**t" coming from so called supporters behind the goal who only last week couldn't get enough of him. Despite looking out of condition and blowing from very early in the match Che's commitment to the shirt was clear for all to see. How you have the nerve to call yourselves supporters beats me.
Leave any criticism you have particularly when it is so avusive until after the match, or keep it amongst youselves on the terrace as it not only affects the player you are targetting but the rest of the team too. True supporters will back their team whatever is happening on the pitch and leave their criticisms until after the final whistle has blown.

Oh Dear! Thats not nice from the boys behind the goal.
If Che was that out of condition then Ade should have played Perks upfront and Mooro at center half.
Im a massive fan of Adie but hes got to shoulder the blame for this, He picked them and then he puts Edusei on with 5 minutes left. There can be no excuses for this affecting our league games and Adie and Phil have to pick them up and keep what has been a great season going.
The FA Cup has gone but Adie needs to get them sorted for Next week.

This supporter is not one of the 'behind the goal' gang.
He's never liked Che and I can sometimes see why but he's just passionate about Welling and wants us to do well. It just seems he's venting his fustruations on Che because of the amount of chances he misses (the open goal one! God how!!!).
I'll have a word with him next time I see him...

Stadhart isnt an out and out scorer. Adie seems to like Che playing alongside Keds. Get off his back ffs hes scored 2 last week and trys his balls off for the club.
Great, lets just slag off the players and have another crap season
I'm not sure and I don't know if the video will show it but it seemed that the ball was just behind him and without any disrespect Che isn't the most nimble of players and he couldn't get a clean strike on the ball.
I deliberately didn't use the phrase 'behind the goal gang' since I was merely indicating where the call came from. I have to say though it wasn't a lone voice getting on Che's back.
Edusei is a bit of an enigma at the moment - you certainly wouldn't think he has played in the 1st (or is that 3rd) Division. He has shown that he can get himself into free areas and has demonstrated a nice touch on occasion but as yet he has not shown what I thought he would bring to the side. I think Aide made a mistake in leaving Che on so long and it could have given Akwasi a chance to show what he is, I'm sure, capable of and make a name for himself.

Twas ever thus I am afraid. I vividly remember Abbott being called the same just after he had scored a crucial equaliser against Wycombe when they were winning the League (15? years ago).
I'd agree we are probably quicker to get at the team than many sets of supporters. There are obviously two schools of thought on this. The first, already stated, is that the supporters lift the team first (as of right). You may however like to consider the view of Lee Dixon (who I presume to know a bit more about it than me) which is the team\key players go out and set the tone for the support to support. Today most of them either didn't want to set the tone or wanted more time than Clevedon would give us to. Coupled with the fact where 95% of anything that was tried didn't work out and we blew it. Not good guys, blew the first home opportunity against a League side in 15 years.
I think you'll also find that the stick that Che was given was not because he missed that chance, it was because was so slow to get up and retreat afterwards (feeling sorry for himself?) that it prevented us maintaining the attack as any ball back in the box was bound to render him offside (something he could improve on)
I for one did not get on Che back and am also upset with our very own supporters who thought Che was a world beater the previous week then give grief this week YES i was disappointed like all but get behind the boys and encourage!
I spent from the 30th min till 5.15 IN TOTAL SHOCK AND WANTED THE PLAYERS TO BE IN THE BAR WITH THERE FANS AND PLAYERS CELEBRATING AND KNOW HOW GUTTED WE WERE AND HAVING TO PUT ON A BRAVE FACE EVEN KNOW IT WAS HURTING.
I for one was disgusted by our performnace and thats why i stayed behind and clapped Clevedon off as no matter how ****e we were(AND WE WERE) they deserved credit which we also gave in the bar BUT MAYBE THIS IS THE KICK UP THE ARSE THIS TEAM AND OUR SUPPORTERS NEED THAT THERE IS A WHOLE LOAD OF WORK TO DO SO CHICKENS AND COUNTING PEOPLE WE ARE NOT THAT GREAT SO REAL WORLD GET IN TO!
NEXT WEEK HAVANT AND WE GO AGAIN ON THE TRAIN CHEERING OUR TEAM ON FORGET ABOUT THIS WEEK! AND I BET CHE SCORES THE WINNER AND YOU WATCH HOW GREAT HE WILL BE THEN!
I thought yesterday was a bit of a shambles from the start. No raffle, no 50/50 despite the advert urging supporters to buy a ticket, no bonus ball. With such a good crowd it was a real own goal to do nothing. I appreciate there were reasons but surely there must be some back up available. I would have happily got there early to flog some tickets and I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
Singling out Che was unfair. They were all terrible. I agree we need to forget about this week and get on with the business of the league - they are a good set of players, they showed that against Bedford. Perhaps this will be a blessing in disguise......who am I trying to kid.
Chris Moore should always play if fit. Unless there's something I don't know the Manager really f***** up on this one. Christ he didn't even come on at half time!
Che wasn't to blame for the defeat and obviously had an off day like most of the others but there were some very poor misses my mum would have had difficulty fluffing. The team deserved to be booed off (not Che alone) and cannot have any complaint about it as there was precious little else to stand around until the end for. Hopefully (and I'm praying) the team simply underestimated Clevedon who, to be fair, did the job they are paid to do. They have put in some good performances of late and lets just hope that this was a timely kick up the proverbial. Ellis Green is looking a good prospect but perhaps needs to get his mum to put a bit more food on his plate!
Can't say I've noticed it but it is not an uncommon aspect in many of today's young players in my experience. They are fine when heading the ball unchallenged but put another player there and......
