Surely Adrian has to get it right at Welling before he is good enough to progress to be manager of  Grays Athletic.   He showed himself up to be tactically naive with his substitutions which were not very bright when we were two down.   He is too negative and he had to gamble yesterday which is not in his character.   He should have made the substitutions earlier and taken off Carthy pushed Perkins up front and brought on Chris Moore.   Adrian watched Clevedon against Hitchin in the previous round and it must have obvious to him that they were an experienced side.   We had too many lightweights yesterday and the balance of the team was not right.   He should have played the experienced Boateng from the start.
