1-0 at half time, Miguel Viana Da Cunha the scorer.

Senior player that are playing are JT, Moore, Guest, Rowland, Sam, Eduesi and Miguel Viana Da Cunha. Gabriel is on the bench. Don't think I've missed anyone out.

Tooting are the better team apparently, could of been 2-1 to them if they had taken their chances.

Hopefully have more updates through the second half...

I was there and I don't agree.

Sh!t (SoaW's word) may well have been how last season's performance in the LSC by fringe and youth players was described but this was a very different affair. Tooting who played their first team were buoyed up after their recent wins against Bromley and AFC Wimbledon and they were playing a weakened Welling side which included a couple of players needing to get match fitness, fringe players, a trialist (who looked promising), and several developing 16/17 year olds. Had Welling played 'sh!t' to use SoaW's word it would have been a cricket score as it was last year.

There were some promising performances from the U18's taking part, which if their development is maintained bodes well for Welling at some time in the future.

It was the same side that took on Bromley in the FA Trophy and AFC Wimbledon in the Westview Cup and if that is not the first team I would be more than a little surprised.

My view is it is no disgrace, it looks a really young team we put out, we used it to get some players fitter. The youngsters gain more experience and the club get a few quid.

2-1 loss is no disgrace with such a young team to a side who are bang in form.

Bruno please read all of my post! Note the apparently, I wasn't there, I was told on the phone. Remember don't shoot the messenger

I can't comment on the game but seems that JT probally won't be playing on Saturday? Playing (even as a goalkeeper) 2 games in 3 days, is alot for a non-league player so Hyde to make his league debut?

Either way I have a bad feeling for Saturday but it's good to see the youngsters doing well against a full strength T&M side!

Come on you Wings!!!
